Hey, I wrote stuff below…. maybe you wanna read it?
📰 Mini Article by me
I love videogames, and I love getting people who don’t claim to be gamers to love playing video games. 2 years ago I started hosting video game night and invited many friends who claim to not be gamers, but by the end of the night they were dominating the game. I think video games are a great way to bring people together. Board games are awesome too, I just like video games, because I don’t have to find a place to store all my digital downloads vs storing all my boxes of board games and because video (at least the style of games I play with friends) tend to limit what you can do vs board games where you have to explain everything from the start.
The cool thing is, all of the tips in this video will still be useful after Covid.
You can use them to connect with friends and family abroad or your child who left for college, or for your romantic long-distance relationship.

*Auto Ducking is a method to automatically lower your audio based on another audio source. For example, if my friends start talking, it automatically lowers the game audio so we can hear each other more clearly. Then when they stop talking, the audio for the game returns to normal.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime* – https://store.steampowered.com/app/252110/Lovers_in_a_Dangerous_Spacetime/
* These last 2 games are PC local multiplayer videogames. They weren’t really designed to play online. To play online, you are going to need a tool like Parsec.
If you work an office job and had to remote into your office during this WFH era, it’s basically like that but all your friends are remoting to your computer and can only control what you give them access to.
You can also buy the Nintendo switch, Xbox version of the game, but they are completely not online games.

💪🏽 Online Fitness

To be completely honest, we’ve only had 1 online fitness session. Turns out we like different types of workout / we would rather watch a movie or game together lol.
🎬 Watching Content Online Together 🍿
Netflix Party – https://www.netflixparty.com/
OBS Studio & Virtual Cam – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dkc6YzQIFQ
The awesome thing about using OBS Studio is you can basically share anything you’re watching with your friends. MAKE SURE you do not stream this publicly. I think a private Zoom call is fine, sorta like private home viewing. Public streaming will likely get your stream shut down.
